Scar camouflage: visually evening out skin areas.
With targeted pigmentation, scars can – depending on their condition – be visually matched to the surrounding skin tone.
Which scars can be considered?
Depending on their condition, many types of scars may be considered, for example after surgery, accidents, skin grafts or injuries, such as thyroid surgery, tummy tucks, breast surgery or reconstruction and caesarean sections. Suitability depends on age, texture, colour and tissue condition.
Every pigmentation begins with a personal assessment
Every skin and every starting point is different. That's why I discuss your wishes, the condition of your skin and the individual possibilities beforehand. Together we clarify which technique makes sense and which result can realistically be achieved.
The aim can be a visual adjustment or reconstruction through pigmentation, without any guarantee of complete invisibility or an exact colour match. Paramedical pigmentation does not replace medical or surgical treatment.
Frequently asked questions: Scar Camouflage
Is paramedical pigmentation a medical treatment?
No. It serves the visual design or evening out of certain skin areas and does not replace medical or surgical treatment. Before every session it is checked individually whether pigmentation is suitable.
Can scar camouflage be done on every scar?
No. Suitability depends on the age, texture, colour and condition of the tissue and is assessed individually.
